deranged-drummer asked: Hello! d-d here again. As more people seem to have my problem, here's what I came up with (with the help of my dad). I put old shirts over the snare and toms and it while it may not sound great, it does an awesome job at getting the volume down! The hi-hat and cymbals I've yet to find a solution for though.
Thanks, I’ll try that hopefully this helps out everyone =]
Anonymous asked: gotcha bitch! hahaha im a big fan of your blog! im a ludwig drummer too! happy april fools
Anonymous asked: unfollowing after that last post.. seriously rethink that
Anon nooo!!! April fools!! Drums are awesome and I love them!
I have Tumblr pro. Does that mean I’m finally a Pro Drummer (things)
deranged-drummer asked: I'm a drummer with a very big problem. Not to brag, but I'm talented. If I hear something once or twice, I can play it. But the thing is, I get extreme anxiety when people can hear me practice. When you practice you make mistakes sometimes, when people hear those mistakes it gives me a LOT of stress. I can only practice drumming once a week during lessons, as the room is completely isolated. My drumming room at home is not sound-proofed, so I can't do it there without panicking. Any advice?
I actually have pretty much the same problem! It really sucks I usually end up waiting until no one is in my house. I’m going to tell you the same thing I know I should do myself. Just fucking play, who cares what the people you live with think about you’re playing, Like you said you’re great! you can also buy a practice kit which is just rubber pads so it doesn’t make noise, but those are way less fun
banginonthedrumsallday asked: For the contest is it okay if I have my guitarist friend playing with me?
as long as there’s drums. fuck yea
Anonymous asked: Would an electric kit be okay for the contest? I'm confined to that recently.
Absolutely, If you can hit it I want to hear it
